Heather is a former organizer on statewide issue-based campaigns as well as presidential campaigns. She managed a grassroots campaign to improve the quality of health care in Massachusetts working in the communities of Worcester, New Bedford, and the North Shore. Previously, Heather worked on outreach for “The Connector” campaign to explain the benefits of health reform and increase the number of insured in Massachusetts. Heather has also provided policy and research advice on healthcare, social services, energy and the environment in the Massachusetts House of Representatives and in London.

Heather lived in the UK for 8 years and honed her skills in communicating public policy issues while working on pro-European campaigns and European Union policy. She earned her Master’s from the London School of Economics and her BA from Tufts. Heather grew up in Arlington, went to high school in Winchester, and lives in Somerville.
