Salad Party June 10!

Dear Neighbors,

Thursday night, the Senate finished our debate on the budget.  I'll write about that next week.  But now, save June 10 for our first Salad Party

For many, many years, I invited friends, neighbors, and supporters to our home for a soup party.

In 2020, Cambridge CoHousing invited us to have the party there, shortly before the pandemic.  In 2021, we gathered online, and I shared some of our traditional Soup Party recipes.

In 2023, friends at Cornerstone Cohousing in Cambridge have invited us to have the party there.  It will be mostly outside, weather permitting, so we've changed the time to June, and the menu to salads.

Please join me on Saturday, June 10 from 5 to 8 at Cornerstone, 171-195 Harvey Street in Cambridge.  Enter the driveway between #181 and #173. The common house is on your right.

You may ignore the signs requiring a parking permit. The city has issued a waiver for Harvey, Jackson, and Clifton Streets.

By T: take the Red Line to Alewife and walk .6 miles.
By #77 bus: get off at Cameron Ave./Cedar St. and walk down Harvey St.

I'll be making lots of salads.  It will be good to get together!
RSVP's are welcome but not required.

All you need to bring is yourself, and a friend if you want to.   But if you want to bring snacks, drinks, or dessert, that’s welcome.

Traditionally, a few folks join me to chop vegetables the day before.   (Here are some of us in 2020.)  If you really like chopping vegetables and want to join me on Friday afternoon at our house, let me know.

Stay safe and stay in touch!
